Yeah I’m waiting for referral to podiatrist, should receive a call tomorrow. I’m stressing because it’s my driving foot 😭 cast or no cast I’m not sure when I can drive. This makes it a bit more difficult since I live by myself. I’ll figure something out.

It’s in a boot. Doc wanted to go “conservative” route. 2 weeks no weight on foot, boot on. After two weeks if it starts healing he will allow me to take boot off to drive but still no weight on foot. It’s going to take 4-6 before I’m allowed to start putting weight on it. Risk for re injury is high with out surgery. Well then let’s do surgery!!!! I want to heal and move on. I don’t have time to play games. 😡

Pain isn’t terrible. I’m in a proper knee high air boot now. I kinda wish he would have put a cast on it and call it a day. Doc wants to be “conservative” 🤬. I want speedy recovery with results that lasts ugh

Treat the boot like it’s a cast and you’re most of the way there and you can scratch. Which you can’t do in a cast and which sucks big time.
