I probably need to start recording what I eat again. My weight is hovering around this range and I'm not really losing. At least I'm not gaining. I'm eating less refined carbs for sure though and I definitely can tell a difference in how I feel.
Went for a nice walk again this morning up a super steep hill. It was hard, but I didn't stop. The weather is still great... highs in the 60s. It was about 40 when I went out this morning, but I got hot in a hurry. Took my dog out to the frisbee park this afternoon and did some more walking. It felt great.
I've been letting my gray hair grow out. I was getting sick of dying it dark. I'm not sure if I like how I look with gray hair. It really affects my self perception to see a grandma staring back at in me in the mirror. I shouldn't let it bother me, but who doesn't want to be told they look young? And that won't be happening any more. It's silly to care.

Coco, one of the loveliest compliments I ever got was when one of my vainest friends let her hair go gray because she loved the way mine looked. Since then, a number of my friends have done the same. Gray hair can be quite lovely and sophisticated. I'm sure you'll be beautiful!

Thanks for the encouragement, Jo! I am sure I will get used to it. My inspiration was my tiny little Japanese aunt, who had the most gorgeous thick dark hair when she was young. Now it's a pretty silver bob and I'd like mine to look like that. My mom tortured her hair with plucking and dye until it thinned out a lot. I'll take silver if I can just keep my hair as thick as it is now!
