I'm going to go buy a scale today. I've been afraid to get one b/c I always hear how you never really know if they're right or not. I'm not sure how to calibrate it...maybe my husband can do that, but I'd be mad if I thought I was a certain weight and then found out it was off by 5 lbs. When we lived with my hubby's grandparents, I could weigh myself weekly b/c she had a scale that she set with the doctor's scale. Now that we're in our house, no more scale. I saw one at Walgreens.com and I think I may get it. I don't really like the digital ones, but it looks like it's pretty good. It's 39.99, so that's not too bad price-wize. I just need to have an idea of where I'm at. Right now, I have no clue what I weigh.
I'm going to boxing tonight, so I should get a pretty good workout. I may do the Ab X dvd...it's only 15 minutes, but it's a hard-core workout that's strictly for abs. You do about 300 different moves during that time. Whew!!! Anyway, that's the plan for tonight. Eating is still going well. I haven't touched any of the sweets that are literally sitting in front of my face here at work. Honestly, I'm just sick of sweets right now. I don't even want to look at them.

It's always scary buying a new scale!! Mine told me I was two pounds heavier then I thought. Then I went to the Dr and found out I was 4 pounds less. No scale is ever exact so just use it as a guide :)

yeah, that's what I'll have to do. I always seem to weigh more when I go to the doctor. What a pain!!

Good luck with the new scale. I found one I got a digital scale thatI was weighing myself all the time. But I was told that as long as you are using the same scale to weigh yourself it is ok. You will knowwhen you are up or down.

My best to you....I have learned not to rely on the dumb scale anyways, it usually only makes me depressed. But I do understand needing to know! I am sure that what ever you find will work for you! Sounds like you are doing great with the exercise..keep up the good work. My best to you always!
