I often buy Heck chicken chipolatas. They are tasty and with low calories. So, this time I thought that I will give a try to vegetarian/vegan ones. As I am not a fussy eater and time to time I buy Linda McCartney's vegetarian sausages, I thought that what can really be wrong with Heck meat-free ones....what a mistake! They are absolutely disgusting! No one in my family didn't eat them and even my neighbour's dog run away after he sniffed them.

I bought the ordinary Heck pork sausages ages ago, but they had a very weird taste to them, it put me off so I never purchased them again ...... I only buy lidl Bratwurst sausage now, nice flavour with good meat content 95% which ticks all the boxes for me on a low-carb diet

I agree about Heck normal sausages they were horrible. Rare for my husband to leave any food but he hated them. I’ll give these a try

Some brands get veggie sausages so wrong! Ones I can confidently recommend for great flavour and texture are Cauldron (both Lincolnshire and Cumberland), The Vegetarian Butcher's 'Little Willies' and Wicked's 'Little Brats'. Dunno what it is with the naming of these products...

Oh dear 😣 lol the green ones from heck are pretty good I hear, but I just don’t trust their range. I second everything Jemima said 😊 and The Beyond Sausage is good too

I have eaten Aldi ones and yes, they are good. I just wanted to taste something different that I usually do not buy or eat and never thought that something can be soooo bad. Anyway, I didn't let them horrible things ruin my day so I went to Polish shop and bought really lovely cheese sausages....🙃🧀🌭!
