s_rene_d's Journal, 06 October 2020

I need to confess something (for peace of mind and personal accountability’s sake). Every weekend I allow myself to eat whatever amount of carbs I want. The only rule is I don’t push myself beyond satiety. If I’m satisfied, I stop eating. When I first stared back with Fat Secret, I only did this on Saturday. Everything was fine, at first. Then I added Sunday as well. We were still good. Then, this week, I convinced myself that Monday would be okay also. See where I’m going with this? Today, (Tuesday) as I was recording my breakfast, I was shocked at just how many calories and carbs I had in one meal. It’s so easy to fall back into bad habits. So I usually only record a journal entry on Saturday but in hopes of staying the course, I’m going to record at least one additional time each week.

Diet Calendar Entry for 06 October 2020:
1399 kcal Fat: 90.88g | Prot: 79.73g | Carb: 63.39g.   Breakfast: Cream (Half & Half), Brown Sugar, Cream biscuits, Butter (Salted) , Molasses , Scrambled Egg , Bacon (Cured, Pan-Fried, Cooked) . Dinner: Kroger Sharp Cheddar Shredded Cheese, Great Value Classic Ranch Dressing & Dip, Salmon, Lettuce, Young Green Onions, Roma Tomatoes. more...

I did the same thing when I started the first time its like if you don't record it and you can't see it then it doesn't matter like the old saying goes out of site out of mind so I started recording mine everyday FS is like my conscience and I know its OK to stray but now if I want something that will take me over my calorie count I plan a meal so I can add that candy bar instead of over eating your not alone I know I did it and I'm sure others do too do the best you can nobody is perfect be blessed

Maybe you should find a way of eating that allows you to eat carbs so it will be sustainable for the rest of your life and you won't feel like you are missing out. Count calories instead. Good luck!
