Driving the first leg of our trip towards home today. Planning to stop in Clarksville, Tn.
We've had a great vacation! Just what the doctor ordered. Ate lots of tasty food 😋 & drink. We enjoyed time with our friends. We drove over & had a visit with my Aunt & cousin. Sat. morning we ladies joined our Hubby's & rode around in the golf cart while the guys played holes of golf. The course is really pretty! I have never played & never actually been on a course.
Yesterday, after brunch Hubby & I went to Peninsula State Park. We drove around twice. We wanted to hike one of the loop trails, but it was threatening rain & didn't want to chance getting stuck half way in. 😐 We didn't have proper rain clothing or we would have chanced it. We did do a brisk walk up the road when we got back to the hotel.
We went out for pizza last night. We had a wait so watched football in the bar. After dinner we crawled in bed & watched the Packers beat the Saints.
I may have a tiny tummy after all my indulgences buy my pants still fit 😀 I'm curious to see where I'm at when I get home, but not concerned. I've logged my foods...of course lots of items are estimates but, I averaged under 2000 calories daily for the past week. I don't think that's bad.
Looking forward to seeing our four legged babies tomorrow afternoon.
