I have been messing up the last few days after my weekend of too much to eat at our Christmas parties. I'm not too happy with myself for it. It's like a slippery slope- once you start eating more than you should, then it can easily carry over into the next week.

My main stumble was I decided to make butter cookies last night with my son. I was going to have one or two but before I knew it, I let myself eat 4. After the last one, I totally felt it hit my belly and felt way over stuffed. It is an awful feeling to be full and bloated like that b/c I have not been that way in quite a while. So, even though I had already been to the gym yesterday, I got on my treadmill and walked/ ran for 40 min./3 miles. Running on a full stomach makes me want to throw up, but I got through it and hopefully burned off the cookies. My weight is up 2 lbs still today and I have 3 days until my weigh in to get it back down. I will be recording points again today and need to make myself do it this week. I do not want to undo all the progress I have made!! The holidays are a hard time to try to lose, so I don't necessarily plan to lose during this month, but I don't want to gain. Here is my plan for this week. When I do these 4 things weight goes down and I feel good and strong:
1. Count points
2. Eat only when sitting down. The sneaking bites standing up kills me. That's how I ate 4 cookies.
3. Eat consciously and slowly.
4. Exercise- push myself to new levels.

Hope you guys are doing well too. Have a good week.
