I am on the roll. Three consecutive days of serious exercise. Yesterday: Treadmill for 1 hr at a slower pace (4.2KM). Today, I was challenged by a friend to walk with them (and see if you can keep up, he said). We walked through the wooded area across the hills and valleys of my home town, 1Hr 40 minutes and around 7.5 Km at a fast pace. Going up the hills just about killed me. Despite me walking most of these hilly roads before, I am now VERY SORE. Fortunately, he will be busy with municipality functions over the next 4 evenings. This will give me a chance to slow down a bit on the treadmill. I can't stop or our buddy Wayne will use the kicking boots on me as requested.
One minor problem: the weight is not going off as fast as I had hoped or as it was during the first 5 weeks. I would not be surprised if in 2 or 3 days I suddenly loose 2 kgs in one day (water retention or some other explanation).

Any way, Goodnight ya'll. Stay fit..and repeat the Mantra: "10 Lbs by thanksgiving" 100 times per day.

Exercising every day helps me but the biggest thing I have found that impacts my loss is how much water I drink. If I manage to get in between 3-5 quarts/liters a day I drop 1-4 lbs a day. Of course, I have to keep my carb count under control and try to not eat too late.

lol- I need to get my butt going with the exercise, but I had to pick up some wood from Lowe's yesterday, when I was unloading at home I twisted my lower back- ouchie
