jenshark4's Journal, 16 October 2013

I havn't made a journal entry in a while as I have been afraid to weigh-in. I have been eating well and exercising but I am tired of the scale fluctuations. I am considering weighing in less often. I would like to try once a week, or less. I am also considering once every couple of weeks (or even once a month). But I am also afraid to let go of the daily checki-ns on the scale, sometimes I feel they keep me accountable. Maybe I need to find a balance of daily weigh-ins for accountability, but "official" weigh-in's once a week.

Hi Jen, I can totally relate. After losing over 60 lbs. I have kinda run into a wall. But I keep exercising and regretably cheating more often than not. However, I still log in my food and will weight in at least every 1-2 weeks. I feel if I don't the weight will just find its way back. So hand in there and if we are really good the weight will start to come off again.

I know how you feel. I know when I feel this way, I look over my food and check for sodium that may be too high, too much sugar or anything like that and then work from there. I also make sure when I'm exercising I wear a heart rate monitor to get accurate calorie burn. Losing weight is tough and it's so individualistic that not everything works for everyone, but those few things have helped me, I hope they help you.
