I'm a big fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates. And in case you live under a rock and haven't heard ;) , we're in the playoffs! Coach Clint Hurdle is a big reason the team is where it's at. He supports his team and sends them daily emails to give them encouragement. Here is one of his emails. I think it works for all of us fighting this weight loss battle, too:
"I wish I had a dollar for every time someone said we'd never win," Hurdle says.

How many people have told you you'll never lose weight? How many times have you started a diet only to quit when it got too hard? If you don't try, you'll never get there. It WILL work if you don't quit. I'm not saying this because I'm perfect. I've lost and gained so many times. This time is different. This time I'm not stopping. This time I'm not quitting.
