I'm home from my sister's now and of course the first thing i do it break out all my old jeans I have stuffed down in the bottom drawer of my dresser. Anyways, the was one pair of 7/8s, two pairs of 9's and a couple of pairs of 10's. The 10's fit good, the 9's are a bit tight but wearable and the 7/8s I can button but are not something I would go out it public in. lol...at least not yet. So in my old jeans I'm a 9/10. That's okay though I think these are all juniors and the ones yesterday were woman’s. I'm not discouraged though if anything I'm all the more motivated. Gotta get down where those 7/8's fit. Can't wait for that to happen.

Also now that I'm below 150 I'm going to really start training to do this 5k in March. I got home late with only about an hour of sunlight left in the day so I only did 2.5 miles but I ran the 2nd 1/2 mile and the last 1/2 mile fully and some intermittent jogging in between. I also timed the last 1/2 mile at 5.17 minutes which is 5.8 mph. And I did the whole 2.5miles in 36.58 which is 4.1 avg. mph. Sorry if the numbers bore anyone but I like keeping track of my times so that I can compare them later.

Gotta go dinner time right now. Baked chicken and mashed potatoes. Yum.

good job on the running! I never pay attention to clothing sizes.. they are out of control.. you can be a 12 in one store and a 6 in another.. That is why i love old clothes they are too small.. then tight... then too big! And that my friend is progress. AMIRITE?

Yes, you're right. lol. It's really strange that women have this 'sizes' in clothing that are completely irrelevant and men have 'sizes' that are actually a measurement. I just had this conversation with my step-dad. He had always wondered why that was. I told him with these strange system of numbers woman don’t have to reveal their actually measurements and you can play it off however you want. It’s just a strange world we live in.

Woot! Woot! Yay Sister! :D The Jeans are awesome! And congrats on the loss the 1 pound loss this morning! :D I jogged some yesterday on my 2miles, and my leg didn't hurt afterwards, so I'm happy about that. Today I'm going to try and top it! :D Jog more often, and longer distance. Slowly but surely. We're going to Rock that 5k in March! Need to increase my miles from 2 to 3.2 though. So going to try and go before Jules' nap time and hope she'll sleep long enough for me to start doing more distance. Also my recover time from the bits I jog has decreased. :) Maybe I can start keeping up with you at the park soon. lol.

That's the way to look at it. As with the other exercise stuff you do as long as you keep at it, it will get better and better. That is if Jules will let you, lol.

I know it'll get better. :) And Jules is the only thing that can keep me from pushing as hard as I want to. I'm hoping when Chris gets home we'll be able to do at least 2 miles, then drop him and Jules off at the play area, so I can do a mile by myself. :3
