Weighed in today and discovered a pleasant surprise. I struggled the past couple of weeks with things like Halloween candy and high stress. But for 80% of the time I was good. One night I had reached my limit with things, and I went to the local wing joint and had 6 delicious beers and a plate full of hot wings. When I came home, my wife was having one of those jewelry parties and had hot queso dip and 500 calorie a slice pie. Not a good night. LOL But the next morning I re focused myself and got back to it. I don't know if this is scientific, but it was almost as if doing that kick started my metabolism again and I am now showing a 3 pound loss for the week. Not that I would recommend this method, but it goes to show that having a bad day or even a bad week does not need to define your entire struggle. Brush yourself off, rededicate yourself, and never forget why you're doing all this in the first place. For you!
