We had a fall festival "trunk or treat" tonight at church. It was really fun and a great turnout with probably a couple thousand people. There were 95 cars with trunks for candy, so the kids got a ton of loot. Then inside was huge bouncies, face painting, more treats, games etc. I will post some pictures. We will do this instead of going out on Halloween and see High School Musical 3 with the kids then instead.

The day had upsides and downsides for weight loss: Upside was I got on my treadmill this morning for 35 min and did 2.5 miles, walking the first one, running the second at a good pace (8-9 min. mile) and then did a combo for the last .5. All day was good eating. The downside was I had 3 mini candy bars tonight and a small bag (about 1/2 cup)of carmel corn. Those treats will send me over my points I'm sure. I am glad to be recording it though so I know where I am truly at and what I am really taking in each day. I'm having a good attitude about counting the points now which is a good thing. Usually all it makes me do it think about food and be extra hungry!

Great job on the 8-9 min mile! You're running faster and faster! Awesome. Good job on staying true to yourself. It's okay (chocolate & candy corn), you didn't go overboard. Hope you savored every bite!
