I started taking a water pill a couple days ago and I think its controlling the blood pressure issues. What would really help is to take off another 20lbs!!!
I am making a roast today and I love to use cream of mushroom soup in it. But I didn't because it has so many carbs in it (not to mention the corn starch!!). It got me thinking - I would LOVE to find a creamy mushroom or creamy chicken soup recipe that is Atkins friendly. Has anyone every seen anything like that? I did a little searching but couldn't come up with anything. So I thought I'd come to my favorite source and ask all of you! If I found a good one, I'd make it and can it and use it in items like this. As a matter of fact, there are so many things I'd use it in!
Its raining here today so I have a day off of the constant job of scraping and priming and painting my brother's house. I needed it. I'm kinda getting sore. I am so lucky - I have an extra deep bathtub with jets in it. If it wasn't for my long, hot, jetted baths at night I don't think I could sleep!!! It works out almost all the soreness after a long day of working on the house. However, I have to eat some avocado today because I felt the leg cramps coming on last night!! Me need potassium!!
You know, sometimes my journals are so mundane, they even bore me!!! I guess that's okay! I can't be too insightful all the time - I would drive myself and everyone around me crazy!!

LUNCH 1 smoked sausage link = 1C 1 cup of boiled cabbage = 3C
DINNER beef roast = 0C 1 cup of lettuce with mayo = 1C 1/2 cup mixed veggies (rutabega, onions, carrots) = 5C
SNACK 1 A&W diet root beer = 1C 1 serving low carb ice cream = 4C
TOTAL = 19
