I am feeling confident in my self-control and focus on eating right and logging my food intake daily. I am seeing steady WL, of which I am thankful. So determined am I to stay focused, I am opting to forgoe the Saturday night banquet - even though I am one of the guests this event is to "honor". I don't know what's on the menu, and I don't want to feel like I have to eat something I shouldn't when I am making progress. And I sure don't want to sit there like a dork with an empty plate and have to "explain" myself to everyone else. It is so much simpler if I send DH in my place and stay home. That's just what I will have to do to maintain my win for the week.

Diet Calendar Entry for 27 October 2010:

Congrats on the progress, great attitude and good choices! Once you start making that progress you don't want to let it go, which becomes it's own driving factor. Keep up the good work.
