Well I hit my goal today. This went more quickly than I thought it would. I think I'll keep going and try for 135. I started this because I gained an extra 5 pounds during quarantine - which was crazy to me since I've weighed 140 my whole adult life. I have never intentionally dieted like this before, so the whole thing is totally new to me. I've found the journaling and daily regimens to actually be cleansing and therapeutic - it helps keep my mind off the pandemic and civil unrest which has been a source of daily stress. Maybe it is also because here I have this one thing I can control in the world - which is empowering.
