I managed to keep my calories under 1800 each day this weekend... it's a start in the right direction, but still not great. And did I mention how much it sucks eating that little? I just want to pig out like crazy. But at least I'm not eating diet food during all this so I'm not completely miserable.

I am, however, starting a no fast food challenge. Based on this crazy exercise of keeping track of everything I eat (ps - my family does think i'm crazy), the days I eat restaurant food are the days I have to actually think about how to stay under my allotted calories. If I could just remove that from the equation, it would certainly make things easier. I know I know... I'm so smrt. It's just two weeks... let's see what I can do. I'm no McDonald's junkie or anything, but I do love me some Chipotle.

Of course actually getting off my butt and exercising might make it possible for me to eat more. I packed my gym bag this morning for the first time in a long while, and planning on going straight to the gym after work. Do not stop at home, do not take off shoes and sit on sofa thereby rendering myself useless for the rest of the evening. And don't even think about that half a pint of peach sorbet that's been sitting in the freezer untouched for the past week (a small miracle in its own right).

Maybe eat a light dinner after the gym and go straight to bed? Maybe not tonight... baby steps.
