Not food related! So probably a no no but I wanted to show her off 😬

@ruudspark yep it’s ok I checked the calories and dandelion greens are only 25 per cup so she’s good 😂  

I used to do a good tortoise impression eating a lettuce leaf in my drunken RAF days, but that's another story 😅

She’s one of my girls I’ve got 3 tortoises! Olivia, A Greek spur thigh (she’s huge like size of a big dinner plate)! Meshell she’s a marginated Mediterranean so pretty big and Penny who’s A hermanns she’s my mini tort about the size of my palm! ❤️ I love them! I’m tortoise Mad

I really want a tortoise! how difficult is proper care? I was thinking about an Indian star from a UK breeder as I don't want it to get too big! 

@monpanda an Indian star has quite specific needs but not totally undoable! You just have to swat up on their specific needs! I believe that all torts need to get outside And in natural sunlight notJust to garden thier shells and give them the right uv levels but because it’s what they would receive in the wild, but lots of people argue that you can have them on a table inside with the correct set up (hard work) but also they gotta be safe from the plants you have in your garden there’s lots they can’t eat and predators even down to slugs that have eaten slug pellets ... blah blah blah! I could go on and on! I think you might find a European tortoise easier to manage for obvious reasons (unless you don’t live in Europe obviously 🙄) but they make great pets! I’m planning on breeding Again next year after our house move! My advice is join the tortoise table (google it you’ll find it) swat up and go for it!!!! ❤️❤️
