YIKES...I have a 1st date tonight...OMG! HOw did this happen? I havn't been on a 'date' in years, if ever. It's been more than a year since I kissed a boy ~ not that I plan on kissing on the 1st date, of course...well, no.
It's pretty much a blind date, since we have mostly communicated via email, and finally on the phone. It was a coincidence we ever 'met'.
Crud, what to wear, and I don't want to clam up...ewww those uncomfortable silences. I know - ALCOHOL - lol, j/k:)!
Worst, what if I don't like him?

Just play it cool. Take your cell phone along and have a girlfriend call you in the middle of it with a fake "emergency" that'll make you have to leave if it's going horrible. But, you scored the date, so hopefully it all goes well. Just be yourself and have fun!!

i met my husband on a blind computer date...we talked on the computer for about a month or so and then on the phone for a couple of weeks...when we met i told him that i might have to leave to babysit my nephew...so when my phone rang he was expecting it...lol...of course we never left...and have not been apart since that night

Aha, I inadvertantly already had a phone interruption set up - I told my date I had an out of town friend who may call to see me tonight, as he was leaving town tomorrow...cool...thanks ya'll...cool...I'll be cool:)~

Good luck and hope everything goes well! Most are wise these days to the "emergency call" thing but are willing to politely play along anyway. :-) Hopefully you won't have you use it and you will meet someone that you really like (and really likes you, because the one-way-like thing is a drag too).

CRAP!!! how come I didn't check in earlier today?!! (well, it's now yesterday to me!) LOL I sure did miss the boat on that one, Rumali!! I had all kinds of wonderful advice too! I would have helped ya pick out something HAWT and yet...well you know....HAWT! lol
