I read a medical study showing that people that slept only 5.5 hours a night lost less than half the weight of those sleeping 8.5. Study had 200 people and had a food control setting.
3rd night in a row, I've slept fairly well, hopefully this helps because I am sick of the scale not moving.

Forcing myself to wakeup every morning before work to workout has been a great change for me. It allows me to wind down in the end of the day after work, but only hard part so far is forcing myself to go to bed earlier so I get a good nights rest. Good luck with it all!
