During this time I have been watching more TV than I normally would and I seriously think that the studies that show that people snack more when they watch tv are true...that there are subliminal msgs sending you for food!!! So, I did cut back on that. Soon I will start more online university classes so I will not have time for TV...better for the weight AND the brain!
Betheroo...thank you for sharing about your pre-planning efforts. That gives me hope that it will work. So far it is helping. I need to lose just a little more because of my cholesterol: it isn't real high, just slightly over 200, but I have heart valve disease, so it needs to be lower. I do not eat any cholesterol, so this is what my body makes. I can't take statins as they cause me pain, tried red yeast rice (per dr) works great but eventually it caused pain also. Can't exercise more due to health problem. So I am reallly stuck with the only alternative being to lose a little more weight. So, the struggle continues!!!
