First thing this morning my pulse was still a little slow at 50 bpm. Then today I went hiking at Cathedral Gorge, and then came back and relaxed this afternoon. I checked again just now, and my pulse was right where it should be. Yay! I'm watching it now!

I'm no expert, and it could be wise to ask one, but I've always had a slow pulse for a woman especially when I am fit. I think average for a woman is 72 bpm and I've mostly always been 65ish. When I was really fit in my 20s it rarely was over 60bpm resting.

I'm gonna talk to a doctor about it next time I see one, Melissa. Everything I can find out about it online says it's not an emergency, and by itself it's usually not a problem. There are a set of other symptoms that go along with it that would make it a concern, but I don't have any of those symptoms. Still, I'll talk to a doctor about it soon, to be safe.

Mine gets very low. My doc wasn't worried and I feel fine. I think maybe you are just getting fit. ;)
