Day #2 of ultra low-carb for me. It's just such a nice change of pace doing ANYTHING that's a little different....seems to be a shot of energy for me. Although there's still a lot of the day to go, it seems like I'm feeling better and less hungry than yesterday. And that's all good. :)
This morning, the weather was not raining - YAY! The UGH Index was a solid 10, however, so the doggies only went 1 mile on their walk this morning. I finished up the rest on my own and then headed for a refreshing dip in the pool.
Today, I'll spend a good amount of time cooking proteins. I'm going through a lot of protein because the emphasis on this meat/egg thing is having protein when you're hungry (along with the naturally occurring fats). Rather than snacking on processed meats, I'd rather use more natural meats. I can't always do this perfectly, but I try.

Hi Bren! Normally, I like my ruts - LOL! - but lately, I'm going stir-crazy with this WOE taking up too much of my efforts and thoughts with next-to-nothing in the results department. Whether this latest thing works or not, at least it's got me happy to try something different. Hope you're having a good day!

Issy, the hard part is trying to find those changes WITHIN the WOE we're following. Ultimately, this is the WOE for life, so I'd better find some ways to get me out of my ruts if I need to. Can I send some of this humidity your way???? LOL!
