After hearing from my "rock star" friend yesterday (tee hee...) I realized that a lot of the "issues" he brought up are things that I am guilty of. Is that why my weight loss is so slow?
I am not opposed to the carb cycling and think it is worth a try. (By saying "carb cycling" I'm saying stay at 20 net carbs for a week; then doing, say, two to three days at 30-40 net carbs. Adding in some healthy fruits, nut and whole grains. I'm not saying "high carb" days.) But I think that it would be better, for me, to #1 - cut out the caffine; #2 - measure myself and #3 - cut back on the protein and add in a little more healthy fat choices. This is what I'm going to try to do for the October Challenge. We'll see how it goes.
