Day 2

I had a tough time getting going this morning. Was up too late. Like I am again tonight. LOL But come noon I was as a busy bee working in my yard. The sunshine was gorgeous and the breeze was a delicious treat for my sweaty face. And my flower bed is all dressed up for Autumn with delightful yellow Gerber Daisies and wine colored mums. ;o)

As for meeting my goals for today.... well....
I didn't get to the store so therefore I didn't accomplish #1 :o(
I did a great job at goal #2 :o) Kept my ass off the couch, chair, bed and kept busy with my grandbabies, the garden (like I said) and doing housework. I'm very proud of myself for this.
Now for #3 I realize now that it contradict goal #2 and so I didn't sit down to search the web. LOL What a quandary!


Tomorrow's Goal

1. I am going to hit the treadmill again. I need to because as today went on my legs muscles became more and more sore. It's a good sore, the kind that lets you know you did something right. I want to walk for a minimum of 30 minutes but shoot for 45-60 minutes.

2. To shop for veggies and lean meats. And snacks!

3. And again I'm going to try to make time for searching to find a Bowflex workout. LOL I might just let Pete show me a few exercises.

this was great! i really like your idea of setting daily goals, manageable daily things that help you keep track of your overall commitment! keep it up and thanks for sharing, i'm going to try this myself :-)

Thanks Seal :o) I decided this will be a better way to keep myself "REAL" Knowing myself, if I set my goals too big, I get discouraged when I don't see quick results. By doing it on a daily basis I see my progress faster. A mind game I suppose but it's working for me. BUT it's only Day 2!!LOL I hope it will help you too. Would love to hear back from you if it does. I'm a NEWBIE to this site and so far I'm loving it!

I love your goals and I am sure you can meet them today! You got me on your back...oh I meant on your side. You say you are going shopping for lean meats. Skip the ground beef as much as possible...get ground turkey if you must.....skinless chicken breasts, salmon, talapia, more turkey, more chicken breats LOL...do you detect a theme here? I still buy beef but not as much cause it just don't have the good stuff in it that leaner chicken, turkey and fish does!

Love ya MA! I just love ya! I had chicken breast for dinner! :o) It's been a hell of a day. Haven't been online at all and have a bunch of catching up to do and really can't stay up until midnight to do it. So I'll head to my journal and do it there. Thank you so much for having my back and being by my side. PLEASE know I'm by your side and riding on your back. LOL
