Tigerlee's Journal, 09 July 2013

Started new workout after I realized I ballooned back up to 300 lbs. I'm 6'3 and other than my gut it's really hard to notice how much I weigh. July 4th was the kicker when my best friend noticed me waddling and out of breath while walking across a casino parking lot while waiting for fireworks.

I was down to 255 at one point on my way to my goal of 240, but stopped tracking through this site. I was in the military and had failed a PT test. I went on the expensive Weight Watchers diet and it payed off as I learned that I actually could change my diet.

I also had a great exercise routine and had ran 6 miles in a row for the first time in my life. After I passed my test I let myself go. I failed another test as I ballooned back up to 275. I went from that November 4th through New Year Eve 2013 and got it down 13 lbs but failed again due to my waste size.

It didn't matter as I retired from the military this May. The stress of leaving, plus relocating to a new area was horrible. I didn't exercise and had a horrible diet.

I started my workout at the 24 hour fitness place. My sleep habits are terrible and I stay up into the late hours and wake up in the afternoon. When I weighed in (which I logged) I came in at a whopping 302.

The one thing I left out was when I lost most of my weight I took Oxyelite as well. MY GOD does that stuff work. But, they made it illegal for military members and it was extremely tough to lose it as quick without it.

Fast forward and I thought to myself to ask if they still sold the original batch (they make a newer less dangerous brand nowadays). The GNC had the original brand and I grabbed the 40+ dollar bottle.

I went to the gym and swam for 50 minutes. It was the first time I swam in about a year. It felt great and they have large Jacuzzi that you can sit in afterwards.

Next I plotted my weightlifting routine. I did all the ab machines and lifted upper body. I then jogged 30 minutes in the gym. I'm not going to record the distance just yet. The goal is to get up to jogging an hour and a half eventually.

I lost water weight immediately but knew it was a false indication of the real weight I lost.

I worked out again today. My workout was supposed to be swimming for an hour, then an hour doing a tread walk, followed by an hour on the elliptical. Good Luck! Reality kicked in. I swam again, but was sore and had less energy. I was also supposed to do 3 sets of pushup and situps like I did in the military, but I skipped them for the tread walk. I barely got 20 minutes in and stopped for good. I weighed in at 297 when it was all over and updated in with Fat Secret. So I'm a 5 lbs less. I still say it's water weight but hey beggers cant be choosy.

My overall goal is now 250, but I really would be happy to get back to New Years when I was around 260 as a side goal. That would be 37 lbs to go from today.

I honestly think I can pull that off 2 months with this oxyelite mixed with a change in my diet. I think I will lighten up on my exercise and just gradually build back up before I hurt myself.

Well good luck to me.

The person tomorrow is what you do as the person you are today. (I think that's how it goes).

Taking it one day at time.

Edit:

I am going to join the 5% challenge that starts on the 12th of July as it really goes along with the amount of weight I want to lose.
