Jak Se Mate? Dobre! (How are you? I'm good!) (Czech)
Wicked man, can you believe it's FRIDAY already! This week was something alright...NOT good on the diet front (I'm sure some of my meanie fs'ers will let me have it, (BadA), but I probably deserve it!
I did well the first part of the week and actually walked a total of 10 miles in 2 days...not bad...then IN THE TOILET with the rest of the week!!! glug glug....
I think I broke my nose the other day...OUCH! I was changing the sheets on my son's top bunk...he has a shelf right there...I was along side it tuckin' away and I turned my head to the right really quick as he called me...and I slammed the side of my nose into the corner of that shelf...He asked me..'Wow, what was that crack? Sounded like someone got slapped'...as I sat there clutchin' my nose. I didn't want him to worry so I just smiled through the instant eye watering and headed to the bathroom...well, I now sport a crooked nose (insert BOOOOOOO here). We'll see...bummer I say, bummer. I told my hubby...'you now have a flawed wifie'...he said...'about time!'...and gave me a big hug...Great guy!
Livin' on Advil I am...good diet plan? HA!
This weekend is gonna be AWESOME! Where we live there is a 'czech fall harvest' called Dozinky (Doh-shink-ee)! SUPER fun, man! Friday night is the car cruise with food booths littered up and down the main street. Our city has 7 bars in it's 2 mile stretch so needless to say there will be beverages also...Street dance and thousands of people. (population almost 5,000) Saturday is the 'main event' with even more czech inspired themes...parade, craftsmen, pro-tug of war, food, bev's and all that good stuff that comes with a festival! We'll head there all day...I'll play vball early in the morning for my class of 88....2 of my kiddos are in the parade (FUN TIMES i say FUN TIMES!)...then we'll hang out and see the sights! At night there is an awesome band and we'll go to that...ALL the bars have bands/music...so there are TONS AND TONS of people spilling out into the street...(they close the main hi-way threw town for the weekend)...I'll let ya know how I fared! HA! I've got some huge'em sunglasses so not too many will have to see my crooked BEAK! HAHA!
Well, I SERIOUSLY need to re-fill my coffee (yup...I'm HI on caffeine again) and get my little ray of sun-shine up and going for the day!
I'll have a pivo(beer) and jiternice (type of sandwich) for all my FS'ers and toast a cheer to you all!
