Enjoying a 25 calorie latte - yummy! This was on the Hungry Girl daily email yesterday - brew some strong coffee, add 1/2 c. of Almond Breeze milk (heated in the microwave). And I added some sugar free almond coffee flavoring. Almond is one of my favorite coffee syrups but hardly any coffee shops have it - especially in sugar free.
I had a great workout on the elliptical this morning. I haven't been on it since last spring. It is super hard and I've been avoiding it. It broke completely last winter and my dear, sweet hubby took it completely apart and fixed it. The only problem is that the tension is set very high. I don't want to make him take it all apart to adjust it again and I figure it will eventually lighten a bit with use!
It is so nice to have a Saturday morning at home without having to rush off someplace - at least not right away. We are leaving for a wedding that is a 2 1/2 hour drive later. We will stay overnight, I'm looking forward to it and am excited to babysit for the grandson during the dance (Mom is a bridesmaid).
I had an amazing time in the Black Hills last weekend (Friday-Monday). This is such a beautiful part of our state - just wish it wasn't at the other end of the state, almost 400 miles away! I went for a photography workshop and I met such wonderful people who were so nice about sharing their skills with a novice like me. I am so blessed, I have made some very special friends through my hobbies of cycling (MJ - you are the BEST!) and now photography.
