today i get to start again. last year, i was at 230 and i had gotten down to 186. now i'm up again by 8 pounds. i know thats not alot but i was working hard at it (at least for me). i have numerous health problems and have had to start taking steroids again, which means weight gain. it did in the past. personal and physical problems are getting to take its toll on me and i just need someone who feels like i do to just say, it's ok. take 1 day at a time. whne i was younger, a wife and mother of 3, i went from before the sun came up until long after bedtime. i stayed home with my childen while my husband worked 2 and 3 jobs to take care of us. i started working when the baby started school. i later became a cna and plebotomist and throughly loved my patients for almost 20 years. i don't know how to just think of me. these days i feel like doing nothing, going nowhere, or even visiting family and friends. numerous dx's and meds. now i need time for me. my husband has been a fireman for almost 30 years and still works 2 jobs.(2 of the 3 kids have medical problems as well). although they are grown and all on their own, with familes, (we have 7 grandchildren) i still worry and it's not good for my sense of well-being. so to get off this jag about me, as i said, today i start over.
