hi journal!!!!

its ramadan so fasting anyway, only exercise having now is the extra prayers in the evening....seems to be working pretty good but havent's check my wieght lately....hope i have lost more ...not worrid but i feel pretty good and actually great
198.4 lb Lost so far: 13.2 lb.    Still to go: 44.1 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 0.3 lb a week

I don't know how anyone can fast! My nephew is Muslim and he fasts during Ramadan, too. My brother is a Christian and a minister and he fasts once or twice a week. You can eat before sunrise and after sunset, can't you? I'd be really EATING at those times. I admire people that can do this!

It's good that your fast is going well, it's not easy to fast for long periods of time. I'm Christian but don't really fast for religious reasons anymore. What I do try and do a one day fast when I have cheated on my diet or am plateauing. I've read fasting once a week is meant to be good for ones health and seems to boost the immune system.

I have fasted before to "reset" my body and was planning on doing that when I hit plateau as a way to hopefully shock my body out of it.
