I think the shirabati noodles kicked me out of ketosis! I was hungry for the first time in a long time these last few days. Hopefully I'm back on track now. I woke up in the night after eating them with a horrible stomach ache. But I may also be sensitive to soy. I have avoided it for years after a bad run-in with tofu. I wanted to be adventurous since this WOE has let me eat things I could before (coffee!!). But this, no.

This will be the fourth dose of antibiotics tonight. I can't say I feel all that much better. I will have missed an awful lot of work, although I've done some remotely. My brain isn't working very well though so a lot that I might have done from home isn't doable just because I'm not competent. *sigh*

And tomorrow I fly. I am dreading that. The pressure of altitude on these sinuses! I am so dizzy and get carsick at the drop of a hat. (The DH drove me to a store last night and even those few flat blocks!) But I can't miss Aunt Nancy's graveside service and the doc said it should be okay to fly health-wise. I guess I'm just being a wimp imagining the worst. But planes can be hard even at the best of health and there are plane changes between San Jose and Kansas City. So yeah, I'm freaking out a little.

And I'm afraid I'll forget to pack essential things because I'm brain fuzzed. And that my sinus infection will make me more likely to get whatever infections might be floating around the airplanes. Okay, I'll stop now. To each problem its own time. Worrying without action boots nothing.

You will be fine and like you said you have to be there. If you forget anything I am sure a family member will have what you need or a store nearby to get it. I would try maybe doing a sinus cleanse or moisture treatment for your sinuses before you leave. And take some gum with you to chew at takeoff. Just some thoughts. Hope you are feeling better soon. Sounds like you have it really bad.

antibiotics completely screw with my stomach--maybe that's not helping? Can you take Dramamine for the airsickness? Hope you feel better! :(

Oooh, thank you both! Gum and dramamine both sound like good ideas. I'm feeling a little more clear headed, though I still get dizzy really easily. Perhaps by morning I'll be much better.
