Hanging in there with the weight loss. I'm really settling into things now, and am finding myself craving healthy foods now. On slim fast, the key is the snacks and being on a routine. The first couple of weeks, the hunger was unbelievable because I wouldn't snack consistently. But now that I do, I rarely feel hunger. I'm pretty much in a constant state, hunger wise and I don't crave stuff as much. I still have a problem when I am faced with pot lucks and family picnics. Tonight, my job is providing fried perch and chicken as a reward for a good safety performance. I have to do better at keeping the flood gates closed. I still struggle with the issue of going crazy when faced with the opportunity to splurge. If a pizza is placed in front of me, I have trouble just eating one piece. But I'll get there.

It sounds like you're doing really great! The frequent snacking is excellent, it'll keep that metabolism chuggin away like you want it to. Good on ya for recognizing your own trouble spots; you'll definitely get there. I stayed away from baked goods for probably 2 months when I first started just because I know myself. :) Keep it up!!!
