Lol, I had a turkey burger for breakfast! Dust off that treadmill for sure, mine was the best investment ever. Best of luck in your weight loss journey, you CAN do it! (O:

You learn to be flexible with your meal options on this diet. I had fried eggs with my bison burger patty and vegetables for dinner last night. LOL. Better get prepared to make it easier for you to stick to the plan.

Check out the great recipes here. Variety is the spice of life. Don't look at this as a diet - but a true lifestyle change. You can do it!

Good for you in joining the crunches challenge and YES dust the old tread mill off and use it!! You paid good money for it, so make it pay you back by melting them pounds OFF!! =D Go get 'em!!

You did so good not giving up when you didn't have much to choose from. Getting the right food will help you stay on track.

You wouldn't believe how odd my meals are sometimes. I have found, in following Atkins, I'm not so committed to the "breakfast food" for breakfast thing anymore. I eat an omlette for dinner somtimes and I once ate my leftover dinner salad for breakfast. Whatever works!! But you do need to get some stuff in the house!!! Way to not let that stop you from starting!! That, right there, shows your commitment!

Everyone else has made the same comment but I'll back them up. "Stock up"--We all eat things other people think are crazy for our meals, but this diet works and works well.
Personally my breakfast was two brat patties (yeah I'm from WI) with cheese, but I had a grilled chicken fillet for lunch and roastbeef for dinner.
Stock up on just about any meat product you like. It wouldn't hurt to have one of those vacuum sealers so you can take advantage of some great sales. Good luck.
