I am confused and need a little help! I felt a little weak today and decided to take a nap. I woke up with a huge headache! I took something for my headache and went out to search for these Atkins Bars I have heard about on this site. I can't remember where I read it but one member said she paid $5 per bar. I found a good variety in CVS and they were around $2 each for the candy bars and they also had 6 packs of breakfast cereal bars that were priced low. The one I ate today was very good! It was a peanut caramel cluster bar...small but yummmy! The carb counts confuse me though. These are Atkins bars and on the front they have a 2 or 3 "net atkins count" but on the back, the carb count is 20 or so grams. I am not sure which count is what I should go by when figuring my daily carb count. Can anyone help? I really really really really hope I go by the count on the front...otherwise, I doubt I will eat anymore.

BTW- I felt much better after I had the bar. I think I needed that...LOL!

I am going to weigh in tomorrow with my fingers crossed. It hasn't quite been a week since I have started but I am dying to know if I have made it under the 130 mark. I really want to get into the 120's...even if it is 129 tomorrow, that would be a huge accomplishment!

You count the net carbs. You take the total carbs and subtract the fiber and sugar alcohol content to get your net carb intake. I think they slow you down but they are great when you are feeling weak and need something to get you through. Over in the candy sections there is a small section of candy that is sugar free. I love the sugar free York Peppermint patties. They have crunch bars, reeces etc. They are pretty low in net carbs. Just be carefull with them because they can slow you down just like diet cokes.

One other thing to remember is: until you know how sensitive you are to Sugar alcohol.... only eat one of those things per day. They can give you gas and even diarreah if you eat more than one per day. Sorry if that's too much information! Me and some freinds learned the hard way! LOL.

I just wanted to comment on your lil' belly. Don't forget that you have had two kids! It is really hard to lose the entire belly after kids. It will probably never be completely flat again. I know....I had two c-sections. I'm not expecting any miracles for me. :) Good Luck...you look great already (in your picture. )

Thanksomuch! I had 2 c-sections too and that really helps knowing that there are other women out there that can understand the new body you earn after having the gift of kids.
