Charmy, there are many wonderful recipes you can have if you are looking for something different. Don't let yourself fall into the same old food everyday. It will get quite boring real fast.

You are losing very steadily and have lost almost 13 pounds in 11 days. That's a pretty good weight loss. Some people can eat the bars, and having one once in a while may not hurt you. It all depends on how you process them. The real trouble begins when you start eating lots of them and using them as meal replacements. And be aware that your weight loss IS going to slow down. It will not continue at the rate of a pound or two a day (which is good, as that would be unhealthy), but will probably ease off until it is about 2-3 pounds a week. Keep up the great work, you are doing fantastic.

Check the Atkins site, I found a bunch of great recipes that are awesome for induction! It's funny, I found it to be just the opposite, I am losing more by eating the bars. When I don't eat them, I go for other things that might not be as "on plan" as the bars, but I do limit them to two a day. Other than that, don't give up...you are doing great! I stalled last week and this week I'm down 3, so you'll have those moments, take them and learn from them. Go over your food diaries and see what worked and what didn't. I am not a journaler (if that's a word), but since I started, I'm definitely more aware of what goes in my mouth, and I'm better for it!

I have been stalled since August 14th...maybe I should try waht lilsmurf is doing! lol No, I am one of those that the bars stall and stall hard! I process the sugar alcohols and store them just like regular sugar. As I said everyone is different!

Thanks so much everyone for the encouragement and opinions, if it wasn't for this great site and fantastic group of people here I would have given up by now, in the past I have never lasted more than a week on a diet. I am not looking at this as a diet anymore it's just the way it has to be from now on a new change of life.

Yes!! you are doing great and you are right... one day...one moment...one pound... one right decision at a time. Atkins bars stalled me... but I still use them to get me over the sweet craving. I just eat 1/3 or 1/2 at a time. and WATER WATER WATER! ;) This is for life...not just for loss. :)

You aren't eating enough charmy. Try getting 12-15 carbs a day of your foundation veggies and I bet you will start losing again.

Charmy, I stopped eating them last week after being stalled for a couple of weeks. Lost a pound since then and hopefully that will continue. The 12-15 NCarbs of foundation veggies/day are critical. I am adding in some additional fruit and complex carbs at this point, but staying at 1500 cals. You are doing great...little tweeks from time to time are great to do. Your body gets too used to the same old stuff every day so keeping it changed up does help.

Thanks again, I actually found that I can have lemon so I made some Lemon Curd today and made my Pumpkin MIM's spread some of the lemon curd on the slices of MIM and it was delicious. This was my sweet treat. Yummy, now I just have to make up a few more calories today.
