Relaxing day, except for battling the tiny ant invasion that started last night in the kitchen. After a day organizing my apartment, going to a soccer match (our team lost) visiting family & meeting my new nephew, we returned to my partner's & find the little buggars climbing to the countertop from behind the stove. We killed., cleaned, researched natural methods of ant control, & put peppermint tea bags all over the kitchen.

A few more showed up this morning. My partner got fresh mint from mom's, I peeled jicama & put the peelings by the front door where there are more little ants looking for a chance to get in. I totally cleaned the stovetop, completely. I crawled on the floor scrubbing it. I dabbled peppermint extract along the edges of our sparkling clean counter tops, sprinkled some of my organic cinnamon down the side of the stove (didn't pull stove out fearing it would scar the Italian tile). The kitchen smells interesting with sprigs of fresh peppermint & everything else.

I'm still sore from the WillPower & grace class I took Friday, but I loved it. Sore in a good way, not increased foot pain. I also rode my exercise bike, though I haven't gotten around to it today.
