Not a big difference this Morning. Happy to see the minimal decrease 😊
Hubby & I went to the Winery to join our friends, then went for dinner at our favorite Irish Pub. I missed the afternoon walk 😐 Although the sun was shining, the wind made it quite nippy out. I had a couple of glasses of wine at the Winery then another with dinner. I chose the blackened cod "Reuben" sandwich on marble rye bread for dinner, replacing the home made chips with a side of sautéed spinach. At the Winery a couple sitting with us had a bowl of peanuts they invited everyone to share. Happy to say I showed restraint & probably didn't eat more than a quarter cup. I had decided to eat some hummus & baby carrots before we went out so I wasn't feeling too hungry. Even with dinner out & wine I stayed under 1500 calories 😊
Today is sunny with an expected high of almost 60. Thinking about going out & raking leaves & stuff off another area of the yard. We don't have a lot of lawn....most of our yard around the house is "natural". We do spread mulch & pine straw to keep it neat. We also have areas with ground cover plants. I usually leave the leaves, etc. during the Winter cold to protect the perennials.
Definitely planning to get in a walk today...no excuses!
Hubby hit Costco yesterday. He came home with Lobster Ravioli....trying to decide if I should add a jarred tomato sauce or do melted butter & parmesan.... Maybe a little lemon. There are 2 pkgs. for seperate meals so I could try both. He also bought our favorite Tomato Basil soup & Chicken Tortilla soup 😋 And of course he had to get a big bag of Boom Chika Pop Kettle Corn. When I indulge I have a 2 cup bowl that is 140 calories. Not awful... And I see a lot of salad in our immediate future, since he bought both the Kale salad with poppyseed dressing & the Asian Cashew Chopped Salad. Since these are large bags of salad we have to eat them before they go bad.
