This website was recommended to me by a personal trainer who I had my first session with this morning. I was mostly looking for a change in exercise routine, but she recommended that I start tracking my calories. My body fat calculation was just over the border of the healthy level (25-31%, and I was 32%), so she's recommending that I lose some body fat.
I hate dieting! I hate counting calories! I am used to pretty much eating what I want and I think I eat a fairly healthy diet, although I do have the occasional chips & salsa, or french fries! I want the flexibility in my diet to be able to have those things when I want. I am all about moderation.
But, in order to get a better idea of what my caloric intake really is, I'm agreeing to start tracking what I eat and see where I am. Wish me luck! ;-)
