Impatience is the killer of progress. Large short term gains/losses mean nothing in the long run if the method isn't sustainable.

Movie stars are a good example. There are exceptions like the ones who are in shape all the time. Mark Wahlberg, Tom Cruise, etc. But when they bounce(40-60 pounds) around or were never in shape to begin with, you can bet they had some "assistance". Take that Indian comedian who blew up all of a sudden. Kumail, I believe. Nope, not possible in 1 year.

I started with a BMI of 46.2😱😱 now I’m 34.1. I’m still in the obese category ☹️ I can’t extend my chart to see what I have been averaging at for weight loss.

Agreed! The start of something closer to a healthy lifestyle started some years ago. And has changed a few times. 👍

Yup! I'm looking forward to putting on that 2 pounds a month (of muscle in case anyone was wondering). Lessee...if I can lose half a pound of fat a week and gain 2 pounds of muscles per month, then I should pretty much just stay where I am once I stop traveling. Hmmm, hope I shed some of this travel weight first! :)
