After the being part of the Dave22 comment marathon last night (and being up for about 21 hours because of it!) I got about 5 hours of sleep and now have a very short moment to write a quick journal....
Good morning from beautiful Flagstaff!! Got here yesterday around noon-- it's about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Phoenix, but I love the scenery of the desert, so it was nice... not to mention the speed limit is 75! I will be here until Sunday morning and will be kept pretty busy it looks like. Tried to see about having my hubby come down for the weekend, but with such late notice and the holiday weekend... not gonna happen :(
My two youngest have their school orientations today. Obviously, I'm going to miss out, but hubby is taking the afternoon off to go with our son. Daughter already has toured the school and all of that, so she is going to go by herself and just get her schedule verified. She's nervous about starting high school-- and I can't believe she's starting!!! She will be 14 in October, so she is one of the younger ones to be starting 9th grade. Only 4 more years... WOW! 7 for my son. I am always amazed when I really think about it-- their childhood years go by sooo fast!
Can't spend much more time on here-- gotta get to work! Hugs to everyone and have a SUPER FANTASTIC day!!

Too bad hubby can't join you for the weekend. It really is so true that they do grow up sooooo fast! I can't believe my daughter is in college! Just yesterday she was heading off for her first day of kindergarten....

It sure does go by fast. It's hard to believe sometimes, isn't it? Glad you are able to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Have a good healthy rest of your week.

How very positive of yas! lol Quite the marathon ya all put on over there... I mustas just missed it, darn.. maybe next time. Have a great time out there in "Flagstaff". :)

That was a fun party last night! I only got about 4 hours of sleep, and i'm feeling it too! Children grow up in a blink of an eye! Enjoy them !

I LOVE the places that you get to ... so I do... and by the way - there is good news, I am livin' proof that some kids NEVER grow up! So I think that you will be enjoying that gang of yours for some considerable time to come *s* (drive safely!)
