This is my first journal entry and I'm kind of nervous but being accountable in writing will hopefully help me stick to the program. I love the Abs diet but I modified the workout to my body type and an exercise book I read. I wasn't suposed to get on the scale but I can't seem to help myself. I even moved the scale to a different out of the way spot but I find a reason to go by it at least 2x a day...I didn't get on it till today though so I'm getting better.(3 days) I just need to see results eventhough I can feel them in my cloths. Anyway my husband and I are going away in Feb. w/o kids so I want to look and feel good for myself and them. My most difficult time of the day is dinnertime. I just can't seem find the time to prepare a meal no matter how early I start. I'm always missing an ingredient and end up feeding the kids first and munch on veggies I put out for them so that I don't eat their leftovers. So far thats the best I can do but I'm working on it. Got to get back to a sick kid.

This site is all about getting yourself out of your comfort zone. Hanging yourself out there and making yourself accountable. You are not going to find anyone here who doesn't appreciate the dieting difficulties that you, and we all go through. No one here is about judgment, it all about support, but unless you jump in head first and participate, then it will make it that much more difficult to achieve your goals. Welcome.

As for the scale ... just be patient. I too have a tendency to get on the scale a bit more than I should. The reason they say limit it to once a week is because you fluctuate so much and making a weigh in as consistant as possible will show your results on the scale. The biggest way to gauge how things are going is based on your clothes and your own feelings. I worked out Wednesday and was absolutely stoked! Keep pluggings away and you'll reach your goal.
