End of day 4!! I can't believe that I'm sticking to this and I'm AMAZED that I'm not starving! I think cutting out diet soda, bread, and sugar have a lot to do with it (insulin related) and drinking plenty of water. My husband asked me if I weighed myself yet and the answer is no - I don't want to because if it's not a signficant loss (like at least three pounds) I'm afraid I'll throw in the towel! I'll wait until the morning of day 10. So, if I no longer post here after day 10--you'll know that I didn't lose any weight and I'm at the local diner ordering a juicy hamburger, chocolate shake, chili cheese fries and oh..a DIET pepsi (Yeah..I love diet sodas.) I know some people may think it's not all about how much weight you lose but how you feel..blah blah de blah! It is how much you lose and that's a fact. Like when someone has been dieting for a while and you ask them how it's going - if they reply, "Well, I haven't lost any weight, but I FEEL better." You're thinking.."hmmmm, no weight lost - not a diet I'm gonna try any time soon." Heck, even on all the diet shows the end of the show is always, what? That's right..A big ol' weigh-in. And the people upset aren't upset 'cause they don't feel better. If I could eat ANYTHING I wanted and not gain a pound, I'd be munching on some buttered popcorn right now and drinking a nice cold beer. Losing weight is hard work - that's why so many people have a hard time doing it. I can say that no matter how much I lose, or don't lose I feel fantastic. I actually have a lot of energy and I feel so much better already - I never even watched Celebrity Fit Club - the reason I started this diet was because I tried a LOT of other things and just couldn't stick to it for more than...hmmm a day. I tried the ABs diet for women and just wasn't structured enough - I'd end up treating myself daily. You get a "cheat" day and I'd ALWAYs, Always, over do it. I tried weight watchers and that was just way to time-consuming and all I thought about was food and how much stuff weighed and how many points an apple had. Last weekend, I went to the book store and told myself that I was going to find a diet and STICK to it. I sat at the book store for a couple of hours and ended up leaving with the Fat Smash book and high hopes.

Way to stick with your diet. I am going to have to check out the smash diet.....I am intrigued wih not being hungry...can hardly imagine....

how do I find out more about the smash diet? i will be delivering a baby in about a month and am eager to start a diet soon after. I'm just trying to find the motivation now..grrr(hard to do)

You can do it! And by sticking with the plan I am sure you will see over a 3 pound loss for detox:)
