No appetite today. I need to stop doing this! I get caught up in things and just don't eat. My weight was back to (just over) 300 this morning. I didn't realize how much it would bother me to see a 3 in front again. :(

Hey, You are facing the right direction, just put one foot in front of the other. (I like your zen quote btw) :)

I can relate...that was my biggest problem before starting my weight loss. Coffee all day, then next thing you know, it's 4 pm & I am a ravenous beast. At first I really had to work hard at reminding myself to eat at regular intervals to stimulate my metabolism, & even put reminders in my Outlook, which helped a lot. They say it takes 21 days for something to become a habit & although I can't attest to that specific number, after AT LEAST that long, I don't have to consciously think about when to eat. My body tells me. Just get back on track hon & the 3s will be a distant memory soon enough!

I too have always heard the 21 day thing. Just keep on trying and you cant fail.. we are all here for you and many of us have been "there" once and will be "there" again sometime.. you keep up your good efforts and things will turn around.. Like they do. Big hugs to you. :)

Find a drink you like (or like to make) with extra cream or something that will add calories and drink it while you are doing other things. You could also, if you are able, make up some meals, or even your own chicken, tuna, and/or egg salad, keep it in the fridge, set the alarm on your desk or computer or phone or watch and when it goes off, reset it for a few more hours and then eat a portion of the meal/salad you have available. If it is portable or you are at home you can eat it while doing other things. Hope this helps.

I went back to work last week after a short break (I am a teacher), and I am having a similar problem. I have started setting an alarm on my phone to remind me when it is meal time. So far, it has really helped.
