Day 4: July 31st

Meals & Points

2 large coffee with cream (2)
lunch: beefless strips w/ veggies stir fry (3)
snacks: 2 plums (2),
1 luna bar (3)
Dinner: mock meat (fried gluten) (3) and veggies stir fry, with sauces (sesame oil (1), hoisin, oyster, soy, and sriracha) (1), almonds (0.5)+ 1 veggie patty (2)

rice cakes (10!!!)...while working and later watching a movie---delicious, white cheese ones, probably pay tomorrow!!

Total: 27.5

Day 5: August 1st
Scale was much more foriving than I'd feared! Last nights carb and sodium indulgence through those rice cakes didn't hurt me--weight was a little more down (0.6) despite not working out either!! I really need to hop onto this non-platueau state and start working out more--while I'm still seeing good results!! Today is the beginning of a new month, so I WILL workout this evening, and make sure I keep an eye on foods--and avoid the bad ones---"MIND OVER MATTER"---I really plan to look at foods of all kind before eating them and make sure I really need it or not--making "eye-contact" with the food, and asking myself, "is this little thing the boss of me? Can I let this little itty-bitty morsel control me?"...and thus, I will gain complete control over food---little by little...that is my personal challenge this month (that and making sure to wake up early and get my workout done!)...I'm tired of singing this same old tune--as I'm sure anyone who reads my journal is tired of hearing this tired tune as well!!!!

I have been a fool for rice cakes in the past myself, hon, so I can completely understand their lure! Problem is, I didn't know where their eyes were so I could make "eye-contact"... hehehe.... You can do this, girlfriend! Just take amryk's advice and consider this "practice". A lifetime of habits don't bite the dust in a few months. But you're making headway. Just remember: One day at a time!
