Day 4:
Baby steps says my friend Bridget and I take what seem to be baby steps that turn into cliff dives! Dumpster arrived Monday. Two teenaged boys arrived Tuesday. the dumpster - 15 CUBIC YARDS - IS FULL TODAY! It will go home tomorrow. Whew. Who knew the basement clean out would be so HUGE????
Did not even touch the wood in the workshop.
I am grateful for the energy of teenage boys at $10 an hour.
I am grateful that a dumpster can be driven here, placed and removed, right in my front yard, with a phone call and a credit card.
I am grateful that I have a job with vacation benefits!
I am especially grateful for contradancing practically next door, and for the welcoming attitude that they display to newcomers - we did not sit out one dance!

Hi Abba, just got caught up on your journals. Things are happening and changing and you have been busy. Big jobs at your house, all that cleaning. You are lucky you have such good friends, to help you out as you begin the battle back to the living. I like your grateful lists. We probably should all have one. Thanks for stopping by, and I am sorry I have not gotten to all journals for a while. Busy, tired, etc, etc. But I do appreciate the time you have taken to stop in and say hi. You have been busy and thank God for those strapping teen aged boys. Little by little you are getting it all done. Glad you are having some fun in the midst of all that work. Are you on vacation now or soon?
