Start-up troubles!

Can't seem to remember the person I was as of two weeks back!! She has dissappeared and I can't seem to bring her back !!!! Where do I start? What do I do? How do I get my motivation back?!

I thik it's normal to get off track once in a while. It helps me to remember that yo-yo-ing weight too much slows down the metabolism and makes it even harder to lose weight later on...so the sooner you get back on track and visualize your goals, the better. Maybe you could try thinking about why you wantd to lose weight in the first place, and how important it is to you and your long term health. Creating new habits isn't easy, if it were everyone would be doing it and be skinny! New habits take time to develop and we are bound to stumble once in a while, but just getting back on track as soon as possible gets easier each time we re-bound. I know you can do this and think of how great you will look in the family Christmas photos this year! :)

Reboot! Reboot! Go back an re-read some of your older journals, and relive the good feelings you had when you were eating well and exercising. Commit to doing it right one day at a time until the habit re-emerges. You can do it! Besides, we like seeing all the new pictures of you as you get healthier and healthier! :)

Its hard during the summertime...all the social get togethers, BBQing....girlie drinks...BUT...remember how far you've come so far. You look amazing! Maybe pull out some of your old photos, just to remind you of why you started this journey. If you have a lot of parties coming up....make the effort to eat well for the days leading up to it, go to the party not to eat, but to have fun...if you decide to eat those chips, or whatever, don't beat yourself up over it, just take the next day to get refocused. I find that sometimes when I've overeaten the day before, its usually on the higher sugar side of things, carbs, etc....so its way more difficult for me the next day to get back on track, because I seem to crave more food then...but you just have to make yourself! YOU CAN DO THIS...you HAVE been doing this.....you will do this!
