193.4 this morning! Wouldn't you know the only day I didn't have a drop this week was yesterday, the one day I recorded in my journal.

Dinner plan last night changed last minute because the chicken was still frozen. I had just bought pork chops at the store, so I browned them, then mixed some ketchup and diet coke together (makes something of a barbecue sauce) and cooked them in it. So good. My husband was thrilled to arrive home from work and find that I had cooked something other than chicken or fish. lol Tonight will be the chicken stir fry, and tomorrow the homemade pasta sauce.

My allergies are really bad this week, not sure why...suspecting the blistering heat has something to do with it. I'm about to try and get through my workout, hoping the coughing doesn't slow me down too much. Morning workouts seem to be essential for me, the difference between showing occasional weight loss and showing steady weight loss.

Diet Calendar Entry for 10 August 2010:

Lookin' good on the weigh-in. And that bbq sauce sounds really good. I'll have to try that. Does it hold up on the grill also?

I've never tried it on the grill, actually. It thickens and becomes more saucelike (is that even a word? lol) as it cooks. I brown the meat, then pour the mixture on top of it to let the meat finish cooking and the sauce thicken. The cola tenderizes the meat. I have tried it in the crockpot to make pulled pork, and that turned out pretty well.

Thanks for the well wishes on my allergies, Info...they've been unusually bad this year. We are in the midst of a heat wave, temps over 100 every day....I think there are a lot of allergens in the air and we really need some rain to calm it down. I'm still not sure what has started this steep weight decline, but just enjoying it while it lasts. lol
