August MIles: 19
Weight Loss-0

Weekend was okay. Cooked up the last of the apples into an apple pan dowdy. I love old recipes and this was really good. Reduced the sugar and butter and used whole wheat flour. Not bad.
Very down about my weight but what can I say? I have to slash calories to 800 and I have been unwilling to do it....

I wouldn't have the energy to lower to those cals either. Go back to when you were losing, what were you doing, what did you cut out or eat? There has to be something. I am sorry, I don't really know what to say either.

Eating the same-except NO SUGAR and cals kept under 800 cals. Honestly, that's what works for me and it still takes weeks to lose a pound. Still have to work out like a demon as well. Whoa is me! I will get in the proper mind set of acceptance soon and get on with it. I want to weigh 130 pounds almost as much as I'd like world peace. Between the two, weighing 130 has to be a cinch.

I just followed a flowchart on this month's Women's Health (first time I bought it/not sure I like it yet) this is my outcome..... "SLOW DOWN, SISTER! It's time to back off a little. Pushing too hard may actually slow your progress. "You get results during recovery, not from the actual workout," says Cosgrove. "And it usually takes 24 hours for your body to recover." Instead of going balls out every day, engage in active recovery at least once a week: "Do something low-key that clears your mind and gets you moving without straining your body too much, like walking, yoga, or a long stretch session."

Not sure if that helps you but its true for me, I saw a loss after a day of rest after a day or two of sore muscles. I don't really aprove of under 800 cals, for one I have a huge appetite. I am always snacking on something. But, if it works for you. I like to zigzag the cals, 800 can be your lowest on some days of the week. Idk, I am with you- tackling 15 pounds has to be easier than world peace.
