Back @ Work- I must say, I find it a helluva lot easier to eat less here. Id really like to cut my cal intake down to 800, which seems impossible considering what it has been that past week. Cant hurt to try though. Today is football, instead of standing on the edge of the track as an onlooker, im going to actually walk the track~

I hear you there...at work you are busier and don't think about food as much, or at least that is the case for me! You can do it! Great job on walking the track while watching...awesome idea! Good luck!

If you are 250 pounds right now, then your body needs at least 1500 calories just to function! That's if you don't move at all and just lay there. If you cut your calories that much your metabolism will stop completely.

I lost 40 lbs in 6 weeks by cutting calories more than that! I ate nothing but grilled chicken and egg whites, jogged every night, and did 1000 situps/crunches- in the beginning i had headaches constantly, but after about 2 weeks, my body got used to what i was doing, it isnt a healthy way to diet, but for me it worked- i have to see quick results or I am dissuaded and give up~ after 6 weeks, i gradually started to introduce more (healthy) foods into my life, and i increased activity to make sure i was burning the extra calories i was introducing- i lot in total 60plus lbs- now before i hear "you gained it back etc", the reason I gained it back is because i did a 360 after meeting my boyfriend- a TOTAL 360- we went out to eat all the time, i ate constantly, i was always with him and i stopped working out- if I had continued doing what I was doing- id be at my goal by now- so reducing calories, even for a 250lb person, worked for me. If I can get in the zone to be that strict with myself, it will work again~ I just dont know if ill be able to get back into that groove
