Went to the gym this morning and beat the shit out of myself. I did thirty minutes on the elliptical (heart rate stayed above 170) and I did twenty minutes worth of swimming laps. Whew! I overcame a lot of my social anxieties today, I worked out on the elliptical between two fit middle aged men! Something that would have terrified me before. And I ventured to the pool to swim laps, all of this alone. What a big step in the right direction for me. Couldn't be more proud of myself!
